She was predeceased by: her father John F. Spitz. She is survived by: her mother Grace E. Spitz (Birch) of Franklin, NC; her husband Raymond Herbert; her children, Chad E. Sawtelle (Maribel Campoverde) of Belhaven, NC, Blair J. Weeden of Hampstead, NC, Amber Herbert (Niko) of Port Jervis and Brittany Herbert (Trevor); her sisters, Susan Spitz of Walden, Tina Ewald of Dunnellon, FL, Nancy Sawtelle of Belhaven, NC and Tammy Duke of Newburgh; and her grandchildren, Avery and Tiara. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
