Daniel J. Romano Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel J. Romano of Newburgh, New York, who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Edward, Maryann Meddaugh, Joseph, Irene Romano and George McGrath; and his pet Remi.

He is survived by: his wife Kaitlyn Romano; his daughters, Adrianna and Alina; his parents, Kimberli Romano and James Romano; his brother Jimmy Romano (Amelia Romano); his nieces, RaeLynn Giovanna Romano and Georgia Grace Romano; his cousin Gina Cannova; his aunt Karen; his uncle John Cantone; his cousins, Isabella and Joey of Marlboro, NY; his uncle Tony; his aunt Jeannie Ciccone; his cousins, Mikey and Dana of New Windsor, NY.; his uncle Len; his cousins, James and Michael of Newburgh, NY.; his parents-in-law, Albert Schaut and Michelle Schaut; his grandmother Erika McGrath; his sister-in-law Erika Mead (Joshua Rowley); his niece Alexandria Garay; his brother-in-law Zack Schaut (Hayley Moshier); and also JoJo.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks in memory of Detective Daniel "DJ" Romano for memorial donations to the Town of Newburgh PBA, 300 Gardnertown Rd., Newburgh, NY 12550 to benefit his wife and two daughters.
