He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodulfo Abolafia and Maximina Abolafia; and his son Elias Abolafia. He is survived by: his daughter Luz Abolafia (Angel Andujar) of Newburgh; his grandchildren, Emeliel and Kamila; and his siblings, Rodulfo Abolafia and Cecila Abolafia.
