He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carmen Perez; his parents, Celestino Perez and Maria Garcia Piñero; his siblings, Marcelino, David, Justo, Miguel, Pedro, Sonia, Diana, Ruben, Juan and Alfonso Perez; his children, Margarita, Nilva (Edson Sr), Shirley (Afonso) and Ernesto Perez Jr.; and his grandchildren, Ariana Bullock (Ellis), Kaley Ortiz, Luis, Ileana, Saragely Perez, Nore, Ellis Jr. Bullock and Edson Ortiz III.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc. (481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, NY 12550). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home (481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, NY 12550). The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (93 Union Ave, New Windsor, NY 12553).
