It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Massingale of Newburgh, New York, who passed away on April 28, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Massingale and Willie Mae Massingale; his child Kim Robin Massingale Chilton (Steve Chilton); his stepchildren, Robert Von Scott and Dana Danielle Scott; and his siblings, Estelle Massingale Lambers, Irene Louise Massingale Nichols and William Alexander Massingale III.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Massingale; his children, Fred Massingale Jr. and Jarib Fred Massingale (Daphny Massingale); his stepson Kenneth C. Scott; his grandchildren, Iren Chilton, Robin J. Chilton, Nathaniel H. Massingale, Christien J. Massingale, Theron J. Massingale, Shana Scott, Antae Scott, Kenisha Scott, Kenneth Scott Jr., Ryan, Raven Scott, Kendall Scott, Robert V. Scott Jr. and Akesia Scott; and his brother Donald Massingale.
