It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Embler of Newburgh, New York, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Embler and Jenny Embler; his wife Carole; and his pet Chanel. He is survived by: his children, Joan Smith, Jean Fry (Stephen) and Paul Embler (Melissa); his grandchildren, Steven Smith, Danielle Smith, Tiffany Montellese (Ralph), Stephen Fry Jr., Christopher Fry (Summer) and Alyssa; and his great grandchildren, Jason, Bella, Giovanni, Elliott, Jeremiah and Jaxxon.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County.
