We bid farewell to Helene J. Horaz (Newburgh, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 7, 2025 at the age of 88. Helene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Bliss and Harold Bliss; her husband Robert L. Horaz Sr.; her brother Harold J. Bliss; and her brother-in-law George Terry.
She is survived by: her sister Marilyn Terry; her children, Sue, Patty (Earl), Margaret (Jeff), Sheila (Michael), Marilyn and Bobby (Michelle); her grandchildren, Jason, Danielle, Brandon (Anna), Jennifer (Edwin), Amanda, Alyssa (Craig), Erin (Joe), Megan (Keith), Lauren, Heather and Allison; and her sister-in-law Michelle. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc. (481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, NY 12550). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (55 Grand St, Newburgh, NY 12550). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (5468 Rte 9W, Newburgh, NY 12550).
