He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lu Lu Gibson and Ira D. Conklin Sr.; his wife Priscilla Ann Mullarkey Conklin of New Windsor, NY; his son Ira Conklin III (Mary Beth Maio) of New Windsor, NY; his grandchildren, Ira Conklin IV (Taylor Kloczkowski) of Newburgh, NY and Caitlin Hogan (Brendan Hogan) of Cornwall; his great grandchildren, Aislinn and Nora Hogan of Cornwall; his sisters, Jane Giaimo of Newburgh, NY, Irene Detoro of Newburgh, NY and Kathy Wahlund of Woodstock, NY; his son Edward Joseph "EJ" Conklin; and his brother William Conklin. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Ira's name.
