She was predeceased by: her parents, Domingo Mendez and Thelma Y. Mendez (Suazo). She is survived by: her sons, Angel Torres (Richard Bottone) of Sea Cliff, NY, Eric William Santiago (Jennifer) of Highland, NY and Steven Angel Santiago (Cassandra) of Newburgh, NY; her siblings, Lawrence Mendez of Lakeland, FL and Vanessa Mendez of Kissimmee, FL; her grandchildren, Justise, Savannah, Kiara, Isaiah, Dasani, Bentley, Jaxon, Cecilia and Jalen; and her great grandchildren, Kaden and Aiden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
