He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Potter and Joyce Potter (Green). He is survived by: his siblings, Kenny Potter of Highland Mills, NY, Carol Martino of Melbourne, FL, Nancy Forman of Montgomery, NY, JoAnn Potter of Mount Hope, NY and Joyce Ann Straub of Florida, NY; his uncles, Leroy Green (Judy) and Jon Schaefer; and his aunt Lois Green. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
