John K. Homan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John K. Homan of Newburgh, New York, who passed away on October 18, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Homan and Annabelle Homan (McDonald); his former wife Margaret Sholes (Marnette); his wife Dora R. Brown; and his son-in-law Dr. Oscar V. Pena.

He is survived by: his children, John R. Homan (Sandra) of Sussex, Diane V. Pena of Minnesota and Pamela J. Vandermark (Walter) of Newburgh; his granddaughter Rebecca V. Cripe; his grandson-in-law Cory; his grandchildren, Ryan V. Pena (Aleshia), Kristen Cannizzaro, Joseph Montelone, Nikki and Alexa Homan; and his sisters, Madaline Homan Decker of Newburgh and Betty Homan Davis (Clifford) of New Windsor. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.

Facial covering must be worn in the funeral home at all times, and social distancing must be practiced.
