He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kenger, Sr. and Ethel "Geri" Kenger. He is survived by: his sister Carol Diemer (Kenger) of Fort Montgomery; his niece Adrienne Diemer of Fort Montgomery; and his nephew Maclaine Diemer of Los Angeles.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Town of Newburgh Animal Control and Shelter.
