It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John V. Zbikowski of Newburgh, New York, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John V. Zbikowski to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Zbikowski and Eleanor Zbikowski (Vinskus); his brother Michael; and his sister-in-law Theresa Sabota. He is survived by : his wife Barbara; his children, Michael (Samantha) and Krysta Hammond (Benjamin); his grandchildren, Brynn, Cora, Dax, Aspen, Brixton Zbikowski, Eleanor and Sumner Hammond; his brother Raymond; his in-laws, Edmund Williford and Marie Rossi; and his niece Maea Panucci (Jon). He is also survived by many co-workers and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc. (481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, NY 12550).

The family requests donations be made in John's name to the Schroon Lake Association, whose mission is to "preserve and protect the Schroon Lake watershed", in lieu of flowers at: Schroon Lake Association, Inc. PO Box 5 Schroon Lake, NY 12870.
