He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence E. and Margaret Nelson, Sr. (McRae). He is survived by: his wife Lynn A. Nelson; his daughters, Diane Sancton (Stewart) and Barbara Steckler (John DeSanto) of Longs, SC; his sister Joanne Morlote of Grifton, NC; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Tara, Kristopher, Nicole, Jessica, Dillon and Trisha; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Shayla, Tyson, Parker, Cora, Teagen, Peyton, Marvens and Isabella.
