With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Chumas (Newburgh, New York), who passed away on July 31, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Kaleel and Phoebe Slaibey; her husband Stanley Chumas; and her siblings, Loraine Norton, Kay Daley, Molly O'Rourke and Vincent Kaleel.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Kantrowitz (Edward) of Hopewell Junction, Patricia Chumas of Newburgh, Stanley Chumas (Patsy) of Houston, TX and Michael Chumas (Michelle) of Newburgh; her grandchildren, Brian Kantrowitz (Stacey), Lisa Colton (Christopher), Victoria Chumas and Michael Chumas II; and her great grandchildren, Jason, Joshua Kantrowitz, Stan Colton and Ella Chumas. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
