She was predeceased by: her parents, James Perry and Minnie Perry; her husband Robert Moody; and her brother James Perry, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Moody and Kelly Moody-Williams (Butch); her granddaughters, Kyla Blevins and Naja Fandal; her sisters, Doris Poole and Portia Riddick; her siblings-in-law, Shirley Byrd, Gloria Culp, Constance Moody and William Davis; and her children, Carolyn Green, Ralph Staples and John Schmidt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews. relatives, and friends.
