He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur L. Coulter and Alberta Coulter (Adamik); and his siblings, Arthur, Eugene Coulter and Lisa Ann Coulter.

He is survived by: his significant other Marleen Vargas; his sons, Matthew Coulter and David Coulter; his stepson David Vasquez; and his brother David Coulter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
