With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael P. Hughes Sr. of Newburgh, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Hughes (Keane) and Charles Hughes; his son Keith P. Hughes; and his siblings, John "Jack" Hughes and Catherine Flynn.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Michael P. Hughes, Jr. of Monroe, NY, Charles F. Hughes of Montgomery, NY and Alicemarie Hughes; his son-in-law Joseph Nicholas of Newburgh, NY; his brother Charles Hughes of Jersey City, NJ; his nieces and nephews, Jackie Hughes, Charles Hughes, Cheryl Hughes, Keri-Lynn Schuetz and Margaret Robbins; and his grandchildren, Charles, Christopher, Brianne, Mackenzie, Aiden, Kenneth, Madison and Jaxon.
