He was predeceased by: his parents, John Phillips and Mary Phillips; his son Kynan; and his sister-in-law Joan Moriello. He is survived by: his wife Mary Phillips; his children, Robert (Texas) and Peggy (Bill Rella); his daughter-in-law Meredith (North Carolina); his grandchildren, Tori, Bailey, Justin, Taylor and Morgan; his siblings, Julie, Gary, Terry, Chris and Greg; and also Charles Moriello (New Windsor).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc. (481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, NY 12550). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Church (55 Grand St, Newburgh, NY 12550). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (5469 Rte 9W, Newburgh, NY 12550).
