He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigmund Filipkowski and Frances Filipkowski (Jablonski); his brother Robert Filipkowski; and his siblings-in-law, Frances Filipkowski (Wona), Edward Mulvey and Patrick McGinley.
He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth Mulvey Filipkowski; his children, Kristin Domanico (Edward), Melissa Pelton (Darrin), Raymond Filipkowski Jr. (Jennifer Gallagher), Stephen and Chad; his granddaughters, Hailey, Hannah and Chloe Filipkowski; his great grandchildren, Edward, Ethan and Aidan Domanico; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn McGinley and Robin Mulvey. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews as well as twenty-four grandnieces and nephews and many wonderful cousins.
