He was predeceased by: his parents, Isauro Pantoja and Luisa Ponce Pantoja; his siblings, Isauro Felipe Pantoja and Luisa DiNardo (Mario); and his pet Marlo.
He is survived by: his significant other Gloria Triminio; his daughters, Vanessa Ortiz (Ernest), Aida Rodriguez (Shawn) and Janett Rodriguez (Angelo); his grandchildren, Akinto, Montrice Boone, Taylor, Elias Brooks and Avery Ortiz; and his siblings, Carmen Rosa Pantoja Mansilla, Maria R. Pantoja, Isabel Pantoja, Esther L. Pantoja, Victor Pantoja, Maritza Pantoja and Teresa Pantoja-Mera (Juan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
