He was predeceased by: his father Henry Benton; his wife Anna Cimorelli; and his siblings, Vonnie, Lucille Thomas, Inez Thommars and Lonnie Peel.
He is survived by: his son Robert H. Peel Jr. (Mary) of Newburgh, NY.; his grandchildren, Della Vondras (Peter) of Newburgh, NY, Jessica Faraone (Jeremy) of Marlboro, NY, Michael Peel and Noel; his great grandchildren, Dayanna and Braylynn of Newburgh, NY; his grandson John Peel (Kimberly) of Walden, NY.; his great grandchildren, Jordan Peel (Kristina), Kathryn Vondras, Michala Vondras, McKenzie Vondras, Joseph Peel, Chloe Torres-Diaz, Kael Torres-Diaz, Julia Schuetz, Jaxon Faraone, Adriana Hedden and Alexandra Peel; his great great grandchildren, Olivia Albertelli and Braden Peel; and his sister Juanita Coleman (Nita) of Texas.
