He was predeceased by: his parents, Warner Tompkins and Thelma Tompkins (Bogart); and his sisters, Doris Niles (Robert) and Dorothy Travis (Willard). He is survived by: his wife Priscilla P. Tompkins (Puglese); his children, Gregg Tompkins and Stacey Tompkins (Jay Chin); his brother Warner Tompkins; and his granddaughters, Natalie and Lauren Chin. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial donation to Castle Point VA Medical Center (VA Hudson Valley Health Care System) or Mid Hudson Animal Aid.
