It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sarah Sheila Cooke (Newburgh, New York), who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Sarah may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sarah touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Herrity and John Herrity; and her former husband Robert J. Cooke. She is survived by: her children, Caren Henderson (Daniel) of Newburgh, NY, Brian Cooke of St. James, NY and Craig Cooke (Wendy) of Pensacola, FL.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, dozens of cousins and many, many close friends.
