Though Sonia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Ramirez and Mercedes Ramirez. She is survived by: her children, Robert Badillo (Robin) and Ludin Badillo (Catherine); her sisters, Adela Ramirez and Eva Carrasquillo; her grandchildren, Brian, Sean, Adam, Nicholas and Amanda; and her great grandchild Ivar.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc. (481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, NY 12550). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the St. Peters Cemetery (71 Lake Ave Ext, Danbury, CT 06810).
