It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan R. Benton (Newburgh, New York), who passed away on December 24, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Russell and Jane Russell of Syracuse, NY; her aunts and uncles, Dorothea, Florence Russell, Gilbert and Jerome Russell; and her pet Dusty.
She is survived by: her husband Lee W. Benton; her siblings, Kent Russell (Kathy), Craig Russell (Millie) and Pamela Helmuth (George); her great-nephews, Everett and Miles Gally; her cousins, George Anderson III (Marcia) and Jo-Nan Tyo; her children, Stacey Benton Heacock (Jeffrey) and Jeffrey Russell Benton (Lynn); and her grandchildren, Emily, Connor and Leanna Heacock.
In lieu of flowers, we are encouraging individuals to consider donations be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or an organization of your choice on behalf of Susan Benton.
