He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Cureton Garris and Arthur Cureton; his stepfather Lonnie Garris; his sisters, Cloa Lee Tumblin and Bernice Davis; and his nephews, Dale Cureton and Larry Tumblin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela and Michelle Cureton of Newburgh, NY; his siblings-in-law, Lolita Powell (Neat) of Newburgh, NY and Gaythaniel Powell of Newburgh, NY; his nephew Louis Tumblin Jr. (Wendy) of Elyria, OH; his niece Barbara Tumblin of Elyria, OH; and his great-niece Linda Henderson of Newburgh, NY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
