She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hofert and Helen Hofert; her husband Howard Weir; her son Gary; her daughter-in-law Constance; and her siblings, Shirley Rathke and Carl Hofert.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Kay (William) and Alan (Debi Tonge); her grandchildren, Michael Mroz, Jared Mroz (Laura), Joshua Weir, Benjamin Weir (Rebecca), Hannah Griffiths (James), Sarah Licata (Jason), Rachel Allison (Joseph) and Matthew Kay (Kristie); and her great grandchildren, Owen, Ryan, Lila Mroz, Julianne, Madison Weir, Jeffrey Weir, Adaline, Caleb, Evelyn Griffiths, Wyatt Licata, Arielle Allison, Camden and Liam Kay. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. (2670 Main St, Newfane, NY 14108). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Concordia Lutheran Church (3121 Beebe Rd, Newfane, NY 14108).
