We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2022, at the age of 70, Margene Thomas of Newfield, New York, born in Elmira, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Leslie Mengee and Mary Henrietta Groh Mengee. She is survived by: her husband Gregg A. Thomas; and her sister Carol Mengee Laney (Douglas) of Horseheads. She is also survived by animal lover who adopted numerous dogs and cats.
Family and friends are planning a Celebration of Life to be scheduled at a time and location to be determined, subject to the whims of the weather and the pandemic.
