He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Berggren and Patricia Stenger Berggren; his wife Mary Novak Berggren; and his brothers, Charlie and Roland Berggren.

He is survived by: his brothers, Richard Berggren (June) and William Berggren (Diane). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
