He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester S. Poplasky and Catharine Poplasky (Krol); his siblings, Francis Poplasky, Caroline Francis, Pauline Woznicki, Jane Koscinski and Mary Ann Lewandrowski; his son-in-law David Foppes; and his great grandchild Hunter Underwood.
He is survived by: his wife Maryann; his children, Christopher Poplaski (Tabitha), Melissa Foppes of North Wilkesboro, NC, Chester Poplaski (Luella) of Katy, TX and René Becker (Karsten) of Frankfurt, Germany; and his brothers, James Poplaski (Christine) of Yakima, WA and Thomas Poplasky (Deborah) of Canandaigua. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
