He was predeceased by: his parents, Rexford Tabor and Nellie Tabor (Castle); his siblings, Lois Polnak (William), Thomas, Greg and Donald Tabor; his siblings-in-law, Ellen Rogers, Bonnie Smith and Bart Gokey; and his great grandchild Aubrey Miller.

He is survived by: his sons, David Jr. Tabor (Kelly) and Eric Tabor; his brothers, Rexford Jr. (Julie), Robert Tabor (Donna), Jasper Tabor (Anne) and Gary Tabor; his siblings-in-law, Roxie Edick (Ronald), Tammy Tabor, Jill Rachon (Danny), Missy Harvey (Mike), Gary Rogers, Charles Smith, Brad Gokey (Judy), Brian Gokey (Sandy) and Bruce Gokey (Margaret); his grandchildren, Courtney Miller (Kelby), Cameron Tabor (Denae), Kiersten Halpin (Ryan), Sydney, Emma Tabor, Sophia and Cooper Farber; and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Hayes, Kaleb, Blake Miller, Reese Tabor, Cameron Tabor, Jr. and Isla Halpin. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
