We announce the death of Dennis M. Baker (Newport, New York), who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 67. Dennis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Baker and Bessie Baker (Hammond); and his siblings, Sheila Baker and Clayton Baker. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Grose (Sharon) of Triangle, VA, Kyla Jacobs (Cody) of Rome and Michelle Connor (Kainan) of Little Falls; his siblings, Jeffory Baker (Denise) of Utica, Robert Baker (Darlene) of Supply, SC, Christina Zaleski (Paul) of Utica and Matthew Baker (Barbara) of Cold Brook; and his grandchildren, Michael, Samantha, Natasha, Aaron and Charles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Kuyahoora Valley Foundation, Inc., kuyahooravalley.org, in memory of Dennis M. Baker.
