He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tasovac and Verla Tasovac (Weakley); and his grandson-in-law Aaron Griner. He is survived by: his wife Barbara M. Murray; his children, Laurie Helmer (Michael Clark) of Newport, Lisa Helmer (Thomas) of Newport and Michael Tasovac (Elaine) of Newport; his grandchildren, Amanda Mower (Mike), Ryan Helmer, Adam Helmer (Chelsey), Joshua Helmer (Andrea), Tommy Helmer (Katie), Mike Helmer (Brandi), Carissa Tasovac (LeRoy Catone) and Victoria Tasovac; and his close friend Billy Sweet. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
