She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Bauer and Mabel Bauer (Covey); her husband George C. Longway; her son Kyle James Longway; her siblings, Diane Winiarski and Robert Bauer; her children-in-law, Sarah Longway and Michael Lyga; and her grandson Michael G. Lyga.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Longway of Salisbury, Angela Longway (Michael Spang) of Olive Bridge, Valerie Lyga (Christopher McGowan) of Newport and Cara Briggs (Duane) of Newport; her siblings, Steve Bauer (Terry) of Greig, Susan Davenport of Dacula, GA and Lois Sessions (Margaret Krashes) of Freeville; her grandchildren, Kevin Longway (Heather Randall), Shawn Longway (Kristy Robellard), Justina Hart (Brian), Phoenix, Brody Longway, Nathan, Kelsey, Alissa Lyga, Foster Knoche and Ethan Briggs; and her close friend Jim Snyder of Norway. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the W. E. Autenrith Sons, Inc. (7479 Main St, Newport, NY 13416). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
