He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Lewis and Gertrude Lewis (Wood). He is survived by: his children, Mark Lewis of Johnstown, Sally Shults (Leo) of Dolgeville, Thomas Lewis (Shirley) of Newport, Trudy Bienkowski (Leonard) of Little Falls and Tracy Graulich (Joe) of Poland; his brother Tim Lewis (Gladys) of Herkimer; Dave, Dorothy Bostwick and Payton. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
