He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred "Alfie" Bissell and Helen Ruby Bissell; his wife Diane M. Bissell (Smith); his daughter Ruby Dawn Bissell; and his sister Alice Cadzow (late Jim).
He is survived by: his son Peter E. Bissell (Sherry); his grandchildren, Simon Bissell, Morrison Bissell and Kassandra Bissell; his great grandchildren, Rhett, Morrison Jr. and Ruby; and his siblings, Dr. Lois Jircitano (late Anthony "Tony") and James "Jim" Bissell (late Wendy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
