He was predeceased by : his mother Vera Valenza (Preston); his wife Karen A. Valenza (Banach); and his brother Michael Valenza. He is survived by : his father Angelo Valenza; his children, Deanna Valenza Smith and Anthony Valenza; his grandson Jacob Smith; his sisters, Anita Clark (Emilio Salciccioli) and Kathy Nicolette (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie LaMacchia (Carl) and Michael Banach III (Pam). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
