He is survived by: his wife Elizabethanne "Betsy" Kurtis (Jones); his daughters, Laura Hood (Eric) and Kathleen Anderson (Nicole); his sister Anne Kurtis (Joseph Sciammarella); his grandchildren, Haylee Kurtis, Audrey, Lily Hood, Zach, Alexis and Chris Neff; his nephews, Devin McCormick, Edward Clifton and Michael Fiyalko; and his niece Carrie Guba.
