He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie C. Peterson Sr. and Earline Peterson (Turner); his brothers, Jerry Peterson, Bubba Peterson (Francis) and Willie C. Peterson Jr. (Helen); and his wife Eleanor.
He is survived by: his brother Eugene Peterson (Ernestine); his children, Anacita Rich (Charles), Charles Arlen Peterson and Grady Peterson (Melyssa); his grandchildren, Charles Rich Jr., Jason Rich, Iana Peterson, Zarianna Peterson, Avianna Peterson, Grady Peterson Jr. and Eian Peterson; his brother-in-law Frank Williams (late Barbara); and his friend Kenny Martin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
