He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel and Agnes; and his children, Eleanor, Annette, Margaret, Robert, Andrew and Stephen.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Grimley; his children, Leslie Hunter (Kurt), Linda Baron (Bill) and Eric Grimley (Kelly); his grandchildren, Stuart Hunter, Caroline Baron, Scott Hunter (Anne), Pierce Baron, Allison Grimley and Laurel Grimley; his great grandchild Juliette Grimley; and his sister-in-law Diane Serrianne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Lima Family Mortuary (466 N Winchester Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Justin Church (2655 Homestead Rd, Santa Clara, CA 95051). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery (490 Lincoln St, Santa Clara, CA 95050).
