She was predeceased by: her father Roy Betton. She is survived by: her mother Lenice Betton (Coates); her daughter Destiny Gil (Alexander); her granddaughter Azariah "Zari" Gil; her siblings, Vanessa Clay, Christopher Betton (Verlinda) and Diane Betton; her close friend Chris Dennis; and her aunt Lucille Campbell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
