He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover L. Gleaton and Shirley Gleaton (Cardwell); and his brother Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Debra M. [Boerdner] Gleaton; his children, Andrew Gleaton (Letia McKinney) and Adrianna Gleaton (David Evert); his grandchildren, Winter-Snow Gleaton and Sage McKinney; his mother-in-law Fay Markle (late Frank); his siblings-in-law, Crystal Krantz (Roger), Richard Boerdner (Judith) and Nadine Addenbrooke (Scott); and his brother Larry Gleaton. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Niagara Hospice.
