He was predeceased by: his parents, Stovie Adrow and Willie James (Riley); his wife Debra S. Adrow (Kane); and his siblings, Obbie L. James, Jimmy J. Riley and Dollie Ann Riley.

He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Adrow, James Riley, Robert Riley and Corbett Rankin; his granddaughters, Sophia Adrow and Lilianna Adrow; and his siblings, Joseph Riley, Martha Mae Riley, Gloria King, Annie Baldwin, Willie Riley and Ethel Riley.
