With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David L. Waldeck Sr. (Niagara Falls, New York), born in Olean, New York, who passed away on October 26, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Waldeck and Dorothy Waldeck; his wife Mary Frances Henley; his daughter Deborah Amendt (Rodney); and his brothers, Robert Waldeck and Eugene Waldeck.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Breslin (Vincent), David Waldeck, Jr. (Joyce Dubuc), Thomas Waldeck, Deanna Waldeck, Lisa Waldeck (David Dorato) and William Waldeck; his grandchildren, Shanon Newell (Jon), Craig Waldeck (ToniMarie), Megan Breslin, Scott Amendt, Dustin Waldeck, Katelynn Ellison (Stephen), Candyce Platt, Anthony DiBartolomeo and Jessica Dorato; and his siblings, Dawn Roberts Guercio and Harold Waldeck (Carolyn). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Buffalo VA Medical Center.
