He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Ward and Willie Lee Ward (Sanders); his wife Gwendolyn Ward; and his siblings, Leola Barksdale (late Terry), Martha Jean Ross (late Edward) and Clarence Ward (Betty).
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Ward, Brandi Abrams (Mannie) and Breanna Ward; his stepchildren, Sean Lorraine and Kimberly Lorraine; his brother Leo Ward (late Vickie); and his aunt Melissa Coleman. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
