She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Lewellyn and Hazel Lewellyn (Suratts); and her spouse Merrill Dotts. She is survived by: her children, James Dotts (Barbara), Denise Zey (Ron), Dennis Dotts (Kathleen) and Kimberly Glover (Jeffrey). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Otto Redanz Funeral Home (2215 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church (1010 Michigan Ave, Niagara Falls, NY 14305).

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the American Diabetes Association and/or a charity of one's choice.
