He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lee and Mary Ella Lampkin; his wife Annie J. Lampkin; his son Ernest Lampkin, Jr.; his granddaughter Dominique Lampkin; and his siblings, Edward, Hurl, Gracie and Mary.
He is survived by: his sons, Aaron C., Andre P. and Gregory E. Lampkin (Nicole); his grandchildren, Arrick (Christine), Shannon, Cherelle, Cameron, Rhoemel, Danielle, Dalton and Hayden Lampkin; his great grandchildren, Jaylon, Zaniah, Genevieve and Wyatt; and his brother Foster "Butch" Lampkin (Joanne Brown). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
