With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank DiMeo of Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on December 3, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cosimo DiMeo and Rosaria DiMeo (DiCesare); his son Frank M. DiMeo; his grandson William M. Tompkins; and his siblings, Lena LaScala, Irma Montagna (late Charles), Rose Amato (late Sam), Vincent 'Jimmy' DiMeo (late Carol) and Louis DiMeo (late Annie).
He is survived by: his wife Virginia L. Ackerman; his children, DeeAnn Tompkins and Michael A. DiMeo; his stepchildren, Vincent Bonura (Karri), Anthony G. Bonura (Diana) and Josephine Murdock (Scott); his grandchildren, Bella DiMeo, Gabriel D. DiMeo, Gracie Tompkins, Silvana Bonura, Gabriela Bonura, Vincent Bonura III and Taylor Murdock; and his godson Anthony DiFranco. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frank was a huge support and pillar of strength to his family and friends, even after his struggles with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's Disease.
