He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Carey and Dolores A. Carey (Rotella). He is survived by: his brothers, Peter D. Carey (Janet) and John J. Carey (Beth); his nieces and nephews, Peter Carey (Aubrey), Melissa Carey, Bekah McGovern (Matt), Micah Carey, Nathan Carey, Joshua Carey and Siobhan Walker (Coby); his great-nephew Rowan; and his aunts, Anna Mae Rotella (late Frank) and Anne Diggins (late Joseph). He is also survived by several cousins and many dear friends.
